The international European Foam Conference (EUFOAM) took place this year in our beautiful hometown Dresden. The conference is dedicated to foams and their applications and brings together scientists from all over the world every two years to discuss the latest findings in the field of foam research.
SITA took part in the event for the first time. SITA foam expert Dr Martin Hoffmann presented the SITA FoamTester and explained the areas of application of the device in surfactant analysis to visitors.
New findings and problem solutions in the area of foam properties
Dr Hoffmann took part in the exciting three-day lecture programme, which covered topics such as the physical chemistry of thin liquid films, the structure and stability of foams and the dynamics of foam and emulsions.
The EUFOAM conference was a very informative conference that gave us new impressions and helped us solving problems related to foam properties. The next conference will take place in Milan in 2026.
