Inspection and adjustment for valid and reliable measurement results

At SITA, we focus on the reliability and performance of your devices. Our qualified service team has the knowledge, experience and tools to guarantee you the highest standards in the maintenance and calibration of SITA measuring technology.

For SITA hand-held measuring devices, inline sensors and the associated working standards, we recommend having an "inspection and adjustment" carried out by us as the manufacturer every 1-2 years as part of measuring equipment monitoring.

Scope of service "Inspection and adjustment"

  • Evaluation of the current device status
  • Complete functional test
  • Checking and, if necessary, installing firmware and hardware updates
  • Calibration including calibration certificate
  • Detailed service report
  • Test sticker on the device

We are happy to offer you a replacement rental device on request. Simply indicate this request in the service request form.

Proceed as follows to maintain your device!

Step 1: Request service

First, tell us your concern. Our service team will create your case in the system and you will receive an individual offer with a service / RMA number.

Step 2: Send in device

After ordering or consulting our service, send us your device including a contamination declaration.

Before shipping your device, please note the following checklists and make sure that your shipment is complete!

  • Device including sensor
  • Calibration standard N0 and N1 or C0 and C1
  • Device case or original transport box for safe transport
  • Printout of the completed device submission form incl. declaration of contamination
  • Safety data sheets for the use of dangerous substances

  • Device including sensor (Device must be set to shipping mode for transport)
  • Shadow chocks
  • Device case or original transport box for safe transport
  • Printout of the completed device submission form incl. declaration of contamination
  • Safety data sheets for the use of dangerous substances

  • Reference to or backup of existing device concentration curves

2 Remove the glass vessel of the SITA Foam tester R-2000 from the device and pack it separately

  • Original or suitable packaging for safe transport
  • Required measuring and calibration accessories

Step 3: Inspection & adjustment

Once we have received the device and all requirements for the inspection and adjustment have been met, the work will be carried out promptly.

Step 4: Device shipping

After the maintenance or calibration service has been completed, we will return the device to you.
