At the end of April/beginning of May, our application engineer Dr. Martin Hoffmann travelled to our American sales partner Dr. Spencer Wu from Future Digital Scientific (FDS). Together with FDS, SITA presented measurement technology for surfactant analysis at two of the most important conferences in North America.
AOCS annual conference in Montreal/Canada
From 28 - 30 April, FDS exhibited at the Annual Meeting of the American Oil Chemists' Society (AOCS) in Montreal. Under the motto "Beyond Chemistry: Solving Complex Problems Together", the conference provided a platform for experts from science and industry to exchange ideas on fats, oils, Surfactants, proteins and related chemicals. FDS and SITA presented innovative measuring devices for analysing Foam and measuring Surface tension for the use of surfactants for quality assurance in the laboratory and for use in research and development.
NYSCC conference in New York/USA
Immediately afterwards, Dr. Hoffmann and Dr. Wu were guests at the conference of the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC). This annual trade fair and conference for the development and production of cosmetics offered numerous contacts for the use of SITA tensiometers and positive feedback on the SITA FoamTester.
The ACOS and NYSCC were successful for FDS and SITA. The focus was on the exchange with existing customers and the acquisition of new interested parties. We would like to thank Dr. Spencer Wu for the excellent organisation and exhibition of our devices at both events.
