At the parts2clean 2018 SITA Messtechnik GmbH introduced the SITA SurfaceTester - the mobile measuring device for controlling the Wettability by Contact angle measurement. The innovative device raised great interest among visitors. During the last months the hand-held measuring device was technically improved and optimised, and adapted to customer requirements.
In this regard the SITA SurfaceTester was renamed to SITA SurfaSpector.
The SITA SurfaSpector automatically determines the contact angle of a water drop on a surface within a few seconds. This enables a fast evaluation of the wettability of parts with different surfaces directly at the process of parts manufacturing. The handy sensor head and the small contact area support the measurement at parts with various geometries.
Special characteristics of the SITA SurfaSpector are:
- Automated measuring procedure with deposition and detection of droplets, and the determination of the contact angle
- Easy to use via touchscreen
- Mobile use without PC directly at the plant or in the process
- Monitoring of limit values with measuring profiles for various applications
- Optional PC software SITA-SurfaceLog for extended visualisation of measuring data and data export
